Okay.. I'm feeling incredibly sappy these days which is probably apparent to those who know me. I'm actually just happy to be actively emoting since my meds seem to make everything a mellow muddy grey. So pain, although bittersweet, has it's hands 'round my heart and it's just the right amount before you feel desperate but enough to make you ruminative.
In this state I'm usually more inspired and definitely more interesting. It's evasive though, like the happy place you reach at the end of your first glass of wine where your cheeks are numb, the world is rosy, and you can't stop smiling. This is the other side of that, equally enchanting in it's own right although it's much less appreciated.
My recent find is Keane. The lyrics are soulful, the music is magical, and I've played their CD to death! Oh how I long for Somewhere only we know
