I've had a hard time lately as well due to my depression, which stems from my increasing financial problems. I've taken some positive steps just the other day that will hopefully get me on the right track. I elaborate in my latest blog.
Please hang in there. I know it's not easy, but it can be done. You're very brave to post these very personal feelings. I've felt a need to do the same thing lately. While it's not easy to bear your soul like this, I'd like to think that it allows for some measure of a catharsis.
You obviously have many people in your life who love and care about you. I'm blessed with that as well. Try to keep fighting. There's really no other option.

I have three doctors and constant physical pain as well as severe bipolar disorder. I thought I could be here and participate but right now I can't even get out of bed. I'm sorry for anyone I'm disappointing or annoying but it is what it is right now.

I'm camping out in the living room in front of the fire with my six year old daughter right now. In the morning I get to have an ultrasound to look at my liver and pancreas. Fun times. I decided to push the biopsy to January because I don't want to pay an extra $500 if I don't have to.

Well, I finally got the package around nightfall- It came at like 12:45 or so but it took an hour or so after I walked home from work to get to thracking page and then I got bumped offline and starfted over. FINALLY at maybe 6 or so I found it had been delivered between 12 and 1 but couldn't find it./

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words and for sharing your story with me. I too lost my grandmother this spring. It's never easy. This has been a hard year with lots of death in my family and my friends family. Hopefully next year can be filled with some births.

I have gone 27 years without one... this is a first... it was given to me from a cousin who got a new one... so i said i would try it... Haven't hooked it up yet... but soon i hope... 
should be great.. give my wife a chance to relax. i hate doing dishes... i am slightly... (ok maybe more than slightly) Obsessive compulsive.... so it takes me way too long to do dishes.

Yeah I've been away from my family during the holidays for the past 5 years now, and it doesn't get easier. I have'nt been home in over 2 and it's really starting to bug me. The thing about it is that it really makes you appreciate family a whole hell of a lot more.

I think I kind of understand how you are feelin'...I lost both of my parents now, and of course grandparents as well. This year was my second without my mother, and Thanksgiving fell one day before what would have been her 73 birthday...seems like when I have a quite moment I find myself thinking of her and missing them both at the holidays even though it's been 11 years since my dad passed away. Dealing with the deaths of our parents and grandparents is one of the passages into adulthood that is so concrete! Sometimes we can live in denial about some of the other events that signify the passage into adulthood, but this one can not be denied.
I am sorry to hear about your losses...I hope you are able to enjoy the time that you have left with your family that remains, and of course with your husband as well. He sounds like an amazing guy!
