Ok. Read through and pick A. B. or C.

So. I just got home from skiing, thought I'd check the www.coachella.com page to look at this years line up again... (for those of you not in the know, Coachella is the festival in California I've been going to for the last 3 years)...

Well tix just went on sale like last week. Turns out...

the 3 day passes are sold out.

The only tix on sale are for Friday (which is prolly the day I'd really like to see Bjork... though there are a number of other bands ... vnv, sparklehorse, rufus wainright, air, and others I'd like to see on saturday and sunday)....

So, Grrr. This totally figures because the Chili Peppers are playing Saturday, and Rage Against the Machine on Sunday (which will most likely be there only reunion show)... So of course every jack ass who normally ignores this festival which has been my california home for 3 years is coming (only on the weekend of course, explaining the sat and sun tix sales being sold out) ... so bla bla bla.. I'm pissed, and online these tickets are selling for $300 and $500 dollars... Gah??? Insanity...

So, help me out people, what should I do?

A. Buy tix for Friday (to see Bjork, and Jesus and Mary Chain and many others...) and hope to find tix for saturday and sunday

B. Plan a trip to Germany or Switzerland to see one of 4 first reunion shows in europe with the Smashing Pumpkins (switzerland would be cool since Manson is playing and I've never seen them)

C. Plan a cheaper trip to Virginia for late April and see the Flaming Lips (again.. but I would.. you know me)... this would allow me to also visit DC on the way back or through and see friends I haven't in a while...


Thoughts!!???
