So another week under the belt, just a couple more to go.
I had an interesting week, I saw my friends band play, really good show. They play some kinda weird electro/industrial type shit, with some killer dance performance.
They are rad so check out Dandiwind
In other news, I went to church twice in one day. I ate holy bread 2x in one day! Being the student of religion that I am I was forced to attend two church services and write a report on my experience. So I went to an afternoon Anglican mass, and then later that day a Catholic service. The Catholic one was better of course, nicer church with cool saint paintings everywhere, and really sweet woodwork, some of the nicest confession booths ive ever seen, ( which gives me some naughty ideas) . The Anglican church was nice, high gothic style, but not as opulent.
It was cool going to a mass, I may go more often just for shits and giggles. Im not catholic anymore, I was baptized but I renounced my faith long ago. I think its still fun to go to any kind of church once and a while, its a neat cross section of society, all types of folks worshiping for all kinds of reasons.
In this day and age, one of arrogance and impatience, its very hard indeed for the modern person to be humbled in any way, but you can see it in any church, people gettin down on their fucking knees! I think its cool to see that moment, when people are just alone with their thoughts and their perspectives, like looking into their soul and seeing a tender side, seeing hope in the eyes of a weary old man, or looking at the sorrow, rolling like a glass bead down the sad women's cheek. In church, people bring out their hopes and fears and dreams and nightmares, they bring them out for they hope God will see them.
Maybe he's forgotten you...

but you arent supposed to eat the lord twice in one day! shame on you! haha..You arent supposed to eat him at all if youve given up your faith! you are such a little rebel! haha.. I haveto go to church when relatives die.. its very akward to me.. watching all my realatives. I wonder what they are prayin for? a faster internet connection? A newer car? A bigger TV? Most of my realatives have pretty decent lives.. my grandparents are kinda old and sickly.. but thats what happens when you get really old, right? As for my aunts and shit.. they are well off with big houses and fancy cars... theyre always bragging and putting everyone else down. I dunno. Maybe they actually are humbled in church.. but i kinda feel like they are just writing thier xmas lists.. or thinking baout what to make for dinner. I dont think they are really listening or caring.. I think they just do it for image.. because they worry so much about what everyone else thinks. I dunno..
It would be nice if they did become humble and think about important things... i dunno.
