I attended with my manly mans the Wonder Con Convention in down town LA on Sunday only. For my cosplay I dressed up as Neptune ( Sailor Scout ).
I could not believe how man people came up to me to have their children take photos with me. Seriously shocked haha. I was always surprised by how many people who requested to take my photo but then declined being photoed with me. Usually when I'm at other cons they ask to take my picture and I say yes, and then I ask if they would like to be in the photo with me and then they usually always say yes and sometimes confess they were embarrassed to ask in the first place.
My two favourite boths were the suicide girls and tentacle kitty. I will post some photos of my tentacle kitty later.
I am such a weirdo, I don't know if it is subconsciously because I'm jealous of other people's height or what but I some how frequently blurt out about people being tall when in close proximity. So I walk up to @leviathan and @kiley and I'm like "OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU YOU ARE SO SHORT". Thankfully Leviathan was just stretching and didn't miraculously shrink over night. But this happens to be something I say to people on a regular basis typically its more like, "Damn you're like... tall". So I think... I have some type of subconscious obsession with height.
I've had the pleasure of meeting both @leviathan and @nebula at the San Diego black heart burlesque show but didn't really have time to chat it up or take selfies so I made sure to make up for lost time this time around.
Because who like doesn't love Chris Hardwick,
I know I love Chris Hardwick.
So fucking excited I really hope that the Horror Museum does happen here in Hollywood. I love Greg Nicotero.
I found the people for face off, or the make up artist who were at whatever similar booth to be.... not nice. They would do demonstrations and then walk their creature around but then yell at people at the con for stopping to look or take pictures but then they themselves would stop and certain points and then announce it was time to take pictures. May be it was too long of a weekend for the people at the booth because their tone of voice and body language just conveyed irrational, and rudeness.
There was an AMAZING new school Michalengo cosplay walking around. But yea I was talk about this both.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo
