Jose, and I planned a very unlikely amount of things to shoot in one day. We were feeling bold!
We wanted to knock out some cosplay, some cute merch shots, some caturday, and some just generally stellar instax.
And we wanted to do this all out doors! So Jose, Pam (his lady), my man, and I headed to Vasquez Park where he does a ton of out door shooting. This park has seen many commercial projects, and a few Star Trek episodes were even filmed there. We roll up and there are tons of people shooting so we pick a spot and start shooting, so first thing I want to do is selfie!
Here we all are looking bright and busy tailed!
So not even 20 minutes into it things get tense! And god do I mean tense! All of a sudden this female park ranger pulls up and asks us about our permit to shoot there. Jose shoots here all the time and knows how it goes, (what needs a permit, what does etc) and they get into a little squabble. Needless to say we made such a bad impression that she literally followed us around until we left. So we pack up shop and get back on the road and do a bunch of guerrilla filming as he calls it.
We head over to another park, which turned out to be beautiful! Looking forward to shooting more safe for work content for all my friends there. Anyways, we just get done with some "wet wednesday" themed things when this police woman pulls up. We both look at one another and I'm sure we all have that "we're so getting busted again" thought running through our heads and the woman just smiles at all of us and took off.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how our adventures turned out. I got a few photos sporting my new SG burlesque dress, a few in my big bang t-shirt (I'm not good at looking sexy in t-shirts apparently), a handful in two different locations rocking my Ariel mermaid bikini, and some good shots in my Sailor Neptune costume. We didn't have time to get to my sucker punch costumes but alas we will rock that another day.
I posted one photo from today on my instagram, but I'll share a few more straight from the camera today!
xoxo
