myxol

well! i think i'll start myself a journal here, it's as good a place as any. my name here is myxol, which is short for myxolydian, which is a music term. the myxolidian mode. it's a little complicated to explain here so message me if you want to know about that.

any of you may feel free to ask me anything, i like talking to people.

i live in columbia, sc which is an ok town if you aren't real worried about living the coolest life you can be. i think i'd like to live somewhere else sometimes, and i do visit other cities and towns a lot, but it wouldn't be very practical. i know some of you probably think that doing things to be practical is a waste of your life, but i already tried living impractically for quite a while, and it got old. now i'm just going to school, to be a lawyer. i've got about three years to go, meaning i haven't started yet. i start this fall. we'll see how it goes, i guess.

i like to play music. i play the guitar. i guess i'm pretty good but i don't show off all that much. right now i want to get some recording equipment and stuff and make some ambient electronica, once i get some more money.

well that's all for now! that wasn't a journal entry per se, but we need to have some sort of common ground to get started, don't we?
