Well things are even stranger in Egypt and I sincerely hope that this does not expand into a Middle East war that drags everyone in. Let's all work for peace and love and fair treatment for all including the planet.
Got my 1951 Packard out for a drive on Saturday. I know it isn't the cleanest vehicle on the road but it feels good to celebrate the organized labor that built this machine 60 years ago. I discovered that my battery was kaput and worked to try and find the right 6V battery - good news is that Interstate carries them locally. A little pricey but it will put the beast back in the reliable column. Someday I will have to install the wiring harness I bought a few years back as the old insulation is crumbling.
Hope all of you enjoy the week. Gloomy here but not too cold; one benefit of living in the south. Hot as hell here in the summer though!

Wish I knew more about antique/vintage cars, they're quite a beauty.
