Missed Gang of Four on Sunday coz I was skint and revising for an exam, the exam went pretty well, it was on globalisation and I managed to not get too carried away with myself. I deliberately avoided the questions on uneven development, but did one on resiting globalisation which got a bit rantish at the end when I started going on about the Zapatistas.
After the exam I went out to Poptastic, me and a mate decided we needed to remind ourselves of how hideous the vast majority of gay people are to stop him feeling like a loser for being single. It worked. We said to hell with poverty, and got drunk on cheap wine (a virtual slap on the back to anyone who spots the song reference), and danced like idiots. Met a really cool bloke who lives at redbricks in hulme and went back to his flat and watched Smiths videos til 6am.
Died a thousand deaths from the cheap red wine then went to the United match. Yeah, well we didnt want to win the crappy league cup anyway
Another exam today on the impact of the far right in post war western europe, something im really into so I actually enjoyed an exam. Now I feel like a geek and am going home to throw my notes away in celebration of the end of the exams. Before work that is. Doh.
