Alrighty then, It is update time! Yay! It has been a long and tiring weekend! And I do have to say that I have a new respect for anyone who has ever worked in retail of any kind. Restaurants, stores, or even fast food. I've never been rude to people who had those jobs or treated them with any kind of disrespect but I have never done the job myself for how much of a pain it seems to be. Yesterday I worked the Family Values Tour. In the Air Force we can volunteer to work concerts so it's pretty cool. But anyways I worked the beer booth and my god, on my feet for 12 hours with backed up lines, rude bitches (yes bitches, the only person that was rude to me was some chick and I almost beat her head in), No time for a break, no time to eat or even sit down. I can't believe people can do this kind of job everyday. But I did enjoy it. I wanted to get out there to see Dir En Grey but our booth was so packed then that I didn't get the chance. But I did get to see a bit of the Deftones and Korn. But after all that work I made $25 in tips. It was fun as long as I don't do it everyday ( I have too much of a temper to put up with people). I'm going to try to work the Journey concert and the TOOL concert. But anyways if you work in retail keep up the good work cause you have one of the hardest jobs I know of.
Just wanted to add something new, I started class today! Yay! I love school (I am such a nerd). But anyways I am taking a math class (icky ick), algebra which isn't too bad but I am like the 2nd oldest person in that class, everyone else is just out of high school (gag). But we started off the class with a word problem ( I HATE word problems).
The Sailors and the coconuts
Three sailors land on an island where they find a pile of coconuts and a monkey. They agree to sleep overnight and to divide up the pile of coconuts in the morning. During the night, one sailor wakes up, gives one coconut the monkey, takes the number of whole coconuts that is exactly one-third of what is left and goes back to sleep. Then the second sailor awakens and does the same. Later, the third sailor wakes up and also does the same. In the morning there are fewer than 10 coconuts left. Each sailor takes a number of whole coconuts that is exactly one-third of what is in the pile.
How many coconuts were in the original pile?
