So I think part of being young is thinking that you will live forever. And sometimes this type of thinking makes you cocky and you take risks that you might not take later in life, but at the time it seems trivial. Hanging on the brink of death means nothing compared to the heart pounding sensation of life rushing through you. However there is also the flip side where you want to die. I hate that feeling.
