the solstice weekend was all too awesome.
the return to reality... not so awesome.
detroit was much more exciting than i remembered it from my last visit, 6 years ago. the paybacks even sounded better than last time i saw them!
opening bands were f-ing ruling... and the evening has yeilded a new favorite band for me!
so, so, so, rocking.
my partners in detroit were absolutely more fun than i ever dreamed. thank you boys.

today i've been making plans, checklists, and outlines...
a list of demands will be made very shortly...
natural foods? bacon is natural, right?
tonight i shall unpack my suitcase, and thursday i shall re-pack it... i'll also watch fireworks, and prepare myself for the stench of the salt mine..
no more cheese omelettes, i beg... why not enjoy the splendor of maple instead?
