Since the weather was rather crummy today and I have a pile of laundry that is filling my closet, I spent the day recovering from an hour's less of sleep and washing my clothes. While my clothes were spinning in the machines, I finally got around to seeing the Belgian/French film "Ma vie en rose" - "My Life in Pink". I can't believe I hadn't seen this film yet. It was amazing!
It didn't surprise me when I found out that it won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. Somehow, it didn't even get nominated for the Oscar though...
As is typical of the transphopic Motion Picture Association of America, the film got an R rating inspite of having very little sexual content. God forbid we allow our children to be subjected to a movie about accepting everyones sexual orientation.

Oh man, I remember "Ma Vie en Rose", I saw it a great while ago when I was younger and unwilling to closely read subtitles and before the 5 years of french lessons. I manly remember the boy dressing as the girl and causing a uproar when he played with the little boy and then a pink sky or something at the end. It's abeen a while. But I do remember thinking "This is really trippy, I have to keep watching this. It's getting good."
