1) Nicole and I went out in the morning to take photos. Since it was really snowy, we decided to go sledding for a bit too:
2) In the afternoon, we went to the Providence College men's basketball game against St. Johns at the Dunkin Donuts center. Before the game started, I warned Nicole that she better be ready to make out with me when we get picked for the "kissing cam". I go to PC games often because some of my friends have season tickets and they always seem to have extras. This was the second time that both Nicole and I went. PC has a promotion that they run during a timeout where the camera scans the audience for couples and tries to get them to kiss. This is all broadcasted on the large JumboTron. They started with an elderly couple who gave a cute little kiss. Then the camera panned to a young guy and girl who I'm not sure were "together" because they had an akward kiss. Then to a middle aged couple who had a quick kiss. Of course, next the camera pans to Nicole and I. With no hesitation, I grab the back of her head and we start making out passionately. The crowd roars!!! Everyone around us sees that its us on the big screen and they start pointing at us and cheering! We won a $100 Ross Simons (jewelry store) gift certificate and tickets to the February 14th game where we can win a diamond engagement ring!
3) After the game we go to Murphy's bar where many PC fans hang out. A couple guys recognize us as the kissing couple and say that I now have to marry Nicole! It was a lot of fun getting busted up by these guys!
4) We met another couple for our 8:00 reservations at Flemmings steak house in the Westin hotel. It's one of my favorite places to eat.
5) As is my New Year's tradition, I got sick last night and threw up my $45 steak. Since this happens every New Year's eve, you would think I would be smarter and order cheaper food!
