Not really being attracted to someone anymore is sufficient grounds for breaking up with them, right?
I mean...it's their fault I'm not attracted to them anymore.
Really it is. This is not a cop out or a sorry attempt to displace the blame.
Nor is this me... trying to convince myself... it's their fault in some sort of effort... to free.. my own conscience...for break...ing up...with...fuck. It certainly isn't my fault that they need to grow up. Relationships aren't about what's convenient. Wait. Or are they? Is that how it works? This is not a rhetorical question, this is legitimate. I'd like to know. Is it me that has a fucked sense of what a functioning relationship should/should not be? Not that a functioning relationship is defined by difficulty, by any means. In fact, it's quite the opposite. But the convenience factor seems to end up being one sided. Someone ends up becoming entirely dependent on the other person because it's convenient for them. That's selfish. The whole thing becomes a burden to the second person involved. So said second person loses interest and wants to call it off. Maybe I'm guilty of the same bitchings listed above, too?
Goddamnit, I'm confused.
And that's someone else's fault, too.
Completely.
I think?
