I threw my back out. I can barely walk. khoos and the girls went to have breakfast with her mom, who is visiting from Ottawa. I had to poop. I struggled to get to the bathroom. Took care of business. Ran into a problem - I couldn't stand up. Yup. I was stuck on the shitter for 5 minutes.

have you tried wiping the sticky part of the pads with a very wet paper towel? It *can* renew the stickiness--otherwise, I'd go to MOMS or maybe even Amazon and get the pads. My acupuncturist wraps the wires around needles and pokes them in me, but I don't think I'd try that at home! (Also get hydrated with nothing-but-water; tired kidneys contribute to muscle weakness in the back -- the toxins literally leach out into the muscles, making them fail and then the spine has to bear more weight than it's made for. I have learned to slug down several bottles of the stuff to good effect).
