Not much is happening, I must say. I'm spending the weekend alone 'cause g/f is going home to her parents and dog. Which leaves me with not much to do except sleep. Sleep. mmmmm....

Henrietta Lacks is immortal. In 1951, she died of a vicious, virulent breed of cancer, and doctors harvested some of her cells because of their ability to grow so well. The descendants of those cells are being used today in research labs across the world.
