Good evening. Once again, Wednesday is over, and once again, I have mixed feelings about its departure. On the one hand, staying in school for classes until 9pm is annoying, to say the least, but on the other hand, it's on Wednesday's that I get to socialize with the little linguistics group I hang out with. Our latest endeavor is coming up with linguistic names for everyone. One inept TA is "high frequency random noise," the maybe-gay guy in the clique is "homophone," and someone else is a "rhotacized schwa." God, we are such nerds. But nerds make the world go 'round.
Classes end tomorrow, and then the exams are on their merry way. Fun. Oh, and then I get to go to NY for a cousin's wedding that I really do not want to go to. Blech, I hate Jewish motherly guilt trips..
Animal of the Day
In honor of the news that the mouse genome has been sequenced and analysed, I present to you Mus musculus. Such a noble creature.
