Well geneticworld's time here was fun. We had a double date at the Dino BBQ with some friends of mine on Thursday night and then came home to watch The Donald. 
We bought all kinds of snacks to eat but of course, we didn't finish them the whole weekend. I did realize, however, that I am obsessed with honey roasted peanuts - once I start eating them I can't stop! 
We went to Border's yesterday and it's educator's weekend there... which means that as a TA I get 25% off of everything (15% off of dvds). So I got 3 DVDs and 2 books. I'm going back today to look around some more - plus I get 25% off of my favorite kind of tea!
Right now the new group of incoming grad students in my dept are visiting for the weekend. I'm going out tonight to meet them all. Apparently, one of them is quite interesting... we'll see.
