Sleepiness. I always update soon after I wake up, so I think I'm always half asleep still when doing journals. Anyway...
Yesterday I talked about nudity in the class I'm teaching. Some of my students were really interested in it. My last class was like a room full of rocks - just sitting there staring at me. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. But someone in the first class somehow brought up body modification (nudity - body mod... I guess that isn't too far of a jump) and so I was telling them stuff that I've done in regards to that and that I used to work at shops and stuff and so now they're all obsessed with it and next week they want me to lecture on body mod. haha Ok then! I can do that!
I'm going to bring in pikchas and my hooks from my first pull (yes, they went through the autoclave afterwards, they're clean) and maybe some other things. My students are damn lucky to have me for their TA, if I can say so myself! 
My cat just pooped in the litter box and it smells in here now.

I have cramps. My uterus is trying to jump out of my abdomen, I know it. OUCH!
I have so much to read and I'm too lazy to go through all my syllabi and write down when I need to read what. haha I should do that today, dontcha think? Yeah. I also have to conduct interviews for my project for my qual methods class. It's on body modification. So if anyone wants to be interviewed about theirs and their experiences in shops, let me know.
I bought some yummy tea yesterday... Orange Blosson White Tea. It was $14 a jar and i thought that was really expensive for tea until I realized that there were 50 tea bags in the thing!! So I got it. Most tea boxes only come with like 16 or 20. And it's some damn good tea!
I went a restaurant supply store that is having an inventory reduction sale yesterday as well. Everything in there is on sale until it's all gone. I got 2 glasses that are like jars with handles (you know the type), 2 PINK plastic cups, 4 little condiment dishes, a new whisk, and a thing for measuring liquor for drinks all for $10!! Rockin!
Oh, also... everyone should see Spellbound. It's a documentary about 8 kids who go to the National Spelling Bee. It's cute and hilarious and NERDY and sad (you know, cuz they misspell words) all at the same time! I'm sure you can get it at any local movie rental place - I got mine at Blockbuster, so yeah. See the spelling bee movie!!

2. It says "Save a mouse. Eat a pussy." on it. It was at my old coffee place in WI and before I left town for grad school I asked if I could have it cuz I always used it there. Nick (the manager) said that I could if I brought in a replacement for it. I brought in a Sesame Street mug to replace it. hehe
3. Yep - 1 sister who will be 21 in a few weeks.
