Sooooo sleepy. *yawn* I can't let Martha pass by... I gotta get up in time to watch her each day, so no matter what time I go to bed I'm up by 9am.
I told my Dad the other day that I'm dating a boy. I was scared to tell him because he thought I only liked girls for like 4 years... he was always really supportive and went to GLBT charity dinners and donated money to the Human Rights Campaign every year and stuff. And over winter break when I went home he was saying stuff about me being gay and whatnot... so I was a little scared to tell him I was seeing a boy, implying that I was bisexual. When I came out over 4 years ago, my stepmom said that she was glad that I wasn't bisexual because those people just want to have their cake and eat it too - well, OF COURSE I DO!!! Sheesh!
Might as well have all the options, right?
haha I haven't told her I'm seeing a boy yet. My Dad was happy for me and told me that he was glad I had a special person in my life and that he didn't care whether they were male or female.
If anyone is looking for a good magazine to read, pick up the current issue (April 2004) of Real Simple. It has some great recipes in it, and some cool tips to fix things in your house, a section on home safety (which made me realize that I'm not sure I have a fire extinguisher), and reviews of some soaps and lotions and hair products.
It's kind of a girly mag, but boys, you'd benefit from reading it as well!
I've been eating Indian curry like mad. I had it for lunch AND dinner yesterday. I'll probably have it for lunch again today - unless I have NACHOS - my other favorite food!
I'd really like to have my own house sometime soon (or townhouse or condo - depending on the area). I want to be able to paint the walls and recarpet and get new countertops and a new kitchen sink and drill into the wall without worrying about covering up the holes when my lease runs up. And in my own house I might actually unpack all my things - I'm still not totally unpacked from when I moved in here last July.
For today:
1. What is your most prized knick knack?
2. What's your favorite kind of pie?
3. What languages do you speak? (since you're reading this, I'm assuming you speak English - any others?)
Mine:
1. My weeping Buddha that my best friend got me in Arizona
2. Coconut cream
3. Minimal Spanish and even less than minimal French
UPDATE:
I just bought this cheese grater and it is the cutest grater ever and comes with a CHEESE SHOVEL!!
Target baby!
