My new bed is so lovely!! It's nice and cushy and soft and I just kind of melt into it. My cats love it just as much - they nap on it all day long and only emerge from the bedroom to sit on my lap while I watch tv. Spoiled kitties! I also put together a cute nightstand yesterday and now my bedroom totally rocks - I love it in here!
School today kinda sucked, but I was very productive. I went to the library and although I couldn't find these stupid books I'm supposed to read for a class next week I did manage to find a CD set for learning french so I can listen to it while I drive. I hope it kills all my time in the car on Friday when I drive to Montreal again. I also finished an assignment for my statistics course and came up with a great research project with a friend of mine on gay male personal ads and "bug chasers" and "bug givers" - people who seek out or don't care about HIV and those who want to give or don't mind passing on HIV to others. I think it's going to turn out to be pretty interesting - although personally I find it a little disturbing that someone would actually WANT HIV or want to give HIV to someone else. It's clearly a fetishization of a virus and in a way, is treating the virus like a commodity that is desired and able to be obtained. So anyway, that's my new project.
Right now I'm working on this book report that's due on Monday. I also have to write up 5 exam questions for my students' exam on Monday... they gotta be about sluts, pot, and insanity - cuz that's what we've discussed since the last exam. hehe Lucky students I have!
I'm so sleepy... my bed makes me want to sleep in it.
ps: I got my awesome REVEL stuff in the mail today!! The sticker is now adorning my lovely iBook and I can't wait to use my coffee travel mug thinger!

Are you serious about the "bug give/recieve" thing? I'm not entirely suprised since that German cannible guy got his victim through a fetish personal ad, but that is disturbing. It's something straight out of a Gorman Berchard e-novella.
Have fun in l'Quebec
