I sent in my letter of resignation in this morning so it is official. I had talked to Erik (my boss) about it Friday, telling him about my endeavours here in Atlanta and he pretty much gave me the altimatum. I told him I would let him know of my decision after the weekend. It was a tough decision but I think I did the right thing. There are no hard feelings on my side of it all, I just have some things I need to look into in Atlanta.

So for all that have not heard by now:

I am looking into trying to purchase a local recording studio here in Atlanta. I will be partnering with Wes Collins. Things are not definate yet - this is a long process; one that I felt was worth looking into further. I would not have been able to do so if I had left for another 6 month contract on the Carnival Freedom.

If this does not work out, I will try and find something else. I want to own my own business. I want to be an Entrepranuer and this is my new direction in my career. Music is my field of choice and that will not change. Corperate entertainmnet has not really satisfied my artistic side and has left me uneasy.

So the good news is that i am here to stay, if at least for a while to look into all of these things and try to make something work. I will probably get another job soon just to pay the bills but my direction is set.
