I finally saw the Tossers tonight....well, half their set. While it was great to finally see them, it was definitely a tease. Next time they, I'll have to plan farther ahead so I can push aside work and see their entire set. I bought merch and the tin whistle player was incredibly nice to me. He gave me buttons and talked to me, and their merch girl offered me a fortune cookie. I think I was mildly starstruck.
The next week is really looking good too, except in the perspective of my needing to save money. I'm going to New York this weekend to see choking victim and World/Inferno friendship society play tompkins square sunday. There were also promises of alcohol and swimming. Then I'm only working for two day$ before going home for a little bit to see two of my friends before they to the military, and to celebrate david's 21st. Also to see my family and gather things for them to bring up to boston when I move into my new apartment in September. It seems wrong that this "vacation" will be more hectic and stressful than staying here and working.
I hope the weather gets better. This wearing a coat in June thing doesn't suit me at all. I bitch about the weather more than it really bothers me(I think I have polar bear blood in me). I wonder if thins is to cover up things that really bother me?
There is so much to get done and so little time. I have an idea for a painting, a million pieces of ideas for stories, and a stack four feet high of books I need/want to read. I think I might strand myself on a deserted island somewhere. Oh well. A piece of advice from Lemony Snicket
"If you are allergic to a thing, it is best not to put that thing in your mouth, particularly if that thing is cats."
