Did I mention I saw Dawn of the Dead? Well, it rocked my face off!
I'm a fan of the original DOTD and this is a different film. More action and more exciting. It also has a zombie baby in it for a couple of seconds. I just wished it was baby from the Dead Alive. Anyhow, it's fun to see and the Sarah Polley is beautilful.
I rented Surviving Desire and The Long Goodbye.
Surviving Desire was directed by Hal Hartly, one of the great American directors. The basic premise is a college professor falls for one of his students. The best thing about a Hal Hartly film is that the actors act like their reading from a book. That may sound bad but Hartly manages to make it look great.
The Long Goodbye was directed by Robert Altman. It's a Philip Morlowe detective story set in a more modern setting. I don't know what to say about this film. I like it I guess. The best part is when the Philip Morlowe character runs after a car and then he gets hit by another car. As the car he was chasing drives away you can see the license plate say "Lov You"
Hellboy is this Friday and I'm excited!!!
It looks great and I've read a couple of Hellboy comics.

The Hellboy comics are fine and dandy, but the Hellboy Junior comics are where it's at, if you can find them.
