stupid jewish tricks!
i recently saw the criterion edition of akira kurosawa's "ikiru". i love this movie to bits and it had two great documentaries about kurosawa and how he worked. it was great to see the beginning of one of the documentaries because kurosawa talked about a scene from one of his last films "rhapsody in august" and it's my favorite scenes EVER!!!!!! it's the ending of "rhapsody in august" and it's the most beautiful things i ever seen in my life.
did i ever mention eurotrip? well, i saw it and i think it's a fine glass of super apple juice.
it was good to see a movie not take itself seriously while everyone is running to the theatres to see the passion of the christ. it's 2 hours of "the christ" being tortured. mel gibson is insane!
i'll wait for video. anyhow, eurotrip is rad fun, yo. why? because i says so, yo.
today i had a little bbq with my dad and sister. it was cool and we grilled some god dam good burgers. GOOD BURGER!
the family is cool but they're hanging in there and i'm trying to keep myself from not exploding into a mass of madness.
i saw the battle of algiers today and it was quite beautiful. i don't agree with the message it was trying to convey but i like it. shot in beautilful black and white this film is about the people of algiers fighting for independence from the colonizing french in the mid 1950s. it was a little odd to see how closely related the film is to what we are going through today. especialy, this morning before watching the battle of algiers, there was a bombing in madrid killing over 150 people. the film definately doesn't show that war is easy especially since you're killing innocent men, women, and children. what i didn't agree with is that this is the answer for everything. the killing of people. one charactor in the film says terrorist attack are just the beginning to get people to notice the problem.
i suggest you watch the battle of algiers rather than the fog of war because i hate robert mcnamara and i think he's full of shit. half the time he's making excuses for everything that happened and then he can't remember who made order to kill hundreds of people. that fucking fuck. i hope he dies full of regret and unhappy.
just like henry kissenger. oh man, henry kissenger should have been sent to prison or to death a long time ago for the irrational decisions he made that killed many innocent lives.
politics makes me very angry. i'm sorry. too many people filled with shit. how can they live with themselves?
one of my friends was injured on the job tonight. i always wanted to say that but he cut his hand pretty bad. a lot of blood lost and he looked so pale. i felt really sorry for him.
well, a girl at a ice cream shop flirted with me today. it was pretty cool. i. she's cute.
she forced me to do the pop quiz thing they had on the board. i had to name the bands that matched with the song titles on the board. i had to get 12 but i only got 11 and they gave me a free waffle cone!!!! but i had to pay for the ice cream which was $2.55.
i am dork.
i'm going to watch secret window tomorrow. it's stars johnny depp and it's directed by david koepp who also directed stif of echoes with kevin bacon. david koepp is a good horror director and i'm expecting this movie, secret window, to be good even though it's based on a stephen king novel.
hmm, i don't know what to else to say so i 'll say "PANCAKES!!!"

Box Elder
Wasnt the question you asked me
It wasnt the answer I gave
That made me feel like I was on a train
Was a distant voice
Made me make a choice
That I had to get the fuck out of this town
I got a lot of things to do
A lot of places to go
Ive got a lot of good things coming my way
And Im afraid to say that youre not one of them.
Last time I was there
You were out on the couch
Pressed into a little electric 2
It was the way that you smiled
Made me know at once
That I had to get the fuck out of this town
cause Ive decide to make a stand
And Im not gonna take your hand
Im taking the next bus outta here, Im gonna head for box elder, m.o.
