I think I may have gotten the temp thing solved. They had the idle WAY up. I don't know about when the light came on, but when I got home I could hear the fan running, so that seems to be ok.

The shifting. Last I tried, it was still a pain trying to get it back into first if I let the clutch out in neutral. And there was the big clunk and lurch when it did go back in. That would make you think the clutch isn't disengaging all the way, but I can let out the lever for a good bit before the bike starts pulling. And the throttle problem's still there. I'm gonna give the place a call once they open at 9:30 my time.
