I just woke up to see the news report that "Actor John Ritter Dead." !
I looked at it for a minute, trying to figure out who it could be, it couldn't be THE John Ritter, from 3's Company fame. But it was.
Once it sank in, I heard myself saying "Oh my god!"
Weird, you don't think that someone who was a sitcom actor, who you don't really know would elicite that kind of response, but I guess I felt like I knew him, even though I know I didn't.
I'm also sad that Johnny Cash died, and that's a shame, but it comes as less of a surprise. He's been in and out of the hospital, his wife passed away, etc.
I hope they are both in the exact places they hoped they would be after life.
