Sorry. The big sneak-peek thingy that was due to roll out today at http://www.dorktower.com has been pushed back to a week from Thursday.
In fact, for the next three weeks, comics will be posted on DorkTower.com Tuesdays and Thursdays. After that, it's back to three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). I think tomorrow's comic is pretty good. I hope folks pop by and see it...and the following week, there are a couple of OTHER special surprises that will be running while I'm away in Ireland.
In the meantime, I just wanted to put a little shout out to one of the best, darkest and funniest comic books on the stands these days.
Arsenic Lullaby # 15 is being solicited in Wednesday's PREVIEWS, and if you like hilarious, dark humor (VERY dark sometimes -- the timid should beware), this is a book not to be missed! Order it from your local comic store. It's one of my wife's -- the lovely and talented Judith -- and my favorite reads...which scares me. I believe Warren Ellis said it best when he said "God help me...it made me smile.
Their website is at http://www.arseniclullabies.com AND they're also from Milwaukee. What can I say? Wisconsin breeds 'em weird.
Arsenic Lullaby no.15
24 pages , $2.65
Available for order in PREVIEWS starting Jan 29
On shelves in late March
After a brief hiatus the King of All funny books returns in it's original format with it's original creative team. In this issue, an alcoholic surgeon implants 100 brains into a baby, Baron Von Donut (a corporate mascot) refuses to give a factory tour to orphans, all this plus the adventures of VooDoo Joe(a witch doctor who is stuck in the suburbs)! This is a great issue for new readers. If you are looking for dark humor, this series is the best there was,the best there is, and the best that ever will be.
