So, today I had to work. It wasn't a huge deal to me seeing as how my family typically does their holiday thing on the eve of Christmas, and also that I live alone. Besides, it was supposed to be an easy 8-hour day. But somehow, I ended up having all these small round, sticky circles with wires on 'em stuck to my body, and a lil' machine that goes :beep:beep:beep: monitor my heart.
I have this reoccuring injury involving a muscle in my chest. They're the muscles between your ribs that help you breath and bend, which is a rather sensitive spot... let me tell you. The first time I pulled it was about 4 years ago, and the only thing I could probably equate it to is being stabbed in the heart. I collapsed on the ground, couldn't breathe, couldn't move, and the doctors said there isn't anything that could be done about it. Every so often though, the pain will begin to flare up, and I'll catch it before it fully pulls, which is what happened this morning. Presently, it hurts a ton.. but they numbed me up with a little vicodin, then gave me a muscle relaxer and a third thing that I don't know what it is. I passed out for about 4 hours after I got back home...
Crazy stuff, let me tell you. In other news, it's raining a bit down here, which I think is awesome. There's nothing I love more than a huge rainstorm... which means, I'm going to make some Top Ramen, take my meds and go sit in the living room and hope I pass out again while watching A Christmas Story.

I hate hospitals. Glad to hear that you're more or less OK again.
