Looking in my heart
I see,
a lonely, broken
searching for myself
for my happiness.
Putting a facade
but within I'm crying
My smile is friendly,
yet inside I'm dying.
Looking for a love
I may not have
a love I may not know
Wanting to fill my void
with the love of another
to share with
and cherish any memories
of the present and the future.
Where do I find such a thing?
