Almost every time I get sick I have these funny little thoughts that run around in the back of my head.
"Maybe this time I might have caught that plague we've been waiting for that is going to wipe out the majority of mankind...but no one is aware of it yet!!!!1!11"
I'm not a hypochondriac. It's really more along the lines of having watched far too many horror movies with a touch of boredom.
But even though it is just this tiny little thought, I've given the idea a lot of consideration and I have to say that if human extinction were the case, I'd be happy to be in the group to go first.
All those movies and books are about the people who are unlucky enough to stay alive long enough to see friends and family die, then are faced with just trying to survive without the comforts of modern day technologies.....and all for what? Pssshfuck survival!
.........now on the other hand, if it were zombies instead of just disease, yeah, I think I'd like to stick around to see that!
I'd be one of the first one raiding the hardware stores for my post-apocalyptic zombie slashin' gear.....complete with kneepads and a pair of goggles that are to be worn on the forehead at all times for no apparent reason.
Because THAT is hardcore!
