I'm having the hardest time understanding the need of some to have other people or ideas to demonize. I can't help but wonder if the building of these walls is their way of attempting to add some sort of significance to their meaningless lives.

It just bothers me because I really do try to be nice to everyone. It isn't an act, but somehow or another that is what people perceive it as.

I don't intentionally go out and hurt people. How is it my fault if some people are so sensitive to such things? You seriously need to look inside yourself before you start pointing fingers at others for your own unhappiness.

Yes. I will admit that I thought that she was a total spaz who constantly demanded attention from everyone around her, but I do appreciate that we are all different and I thought she was cool anyhow. But still, she chooses to hold some sort of misguided grudge against me.....can't win them all, I suppose.

Still, life goes on, and hopefully one day everyone will realize we are all in control of what we get out of it. Demonize if you must, but please, leave me out of it. I'll still be there enjoying myself with whomever I wish no matter what you feel about me.
