Hello my sweet SG friends! How are you? How is it going your week? I'm getting better after the flu, but I'm still recovering...so sad 'cause I can't run or make some sports, I'm really addicted to physical activity so being unable to do anything make me feel really bad. But I'm sure in a couple of days I'll be fine!
Today I would like to talk to you about a bodypainting project I'm working on with my boyfriend. We are working on this thing since a couple of years, and it still gives me a lot of satisfaction. I've already told here about it, so for the ones which knows yet sorry for the repetition but for who doesn't know anything...here we are.
This project is called "Musa&Skal". My boyfriend paints me with the airbrush, and we try to reproduce painting from old master with our surrealistic way. We don't do anything in post production, just some light adjnustment, so everything you see in the pic was REALLY on me (sometimes we use also latex special effect). All the work we do have in it a lot of meaning for us, and we try to explain this meaning trough the paint and the posing, and the performance I do while I'm painted. The first time, I was completely naked and painted in a "niche" (you know the little hollow where usually saint' statue are), it was a work about the dark side of the catholic religion. Sorry, I can't describe so well what we do...maybe is better to let you see something, and let the image speaks for me ❤ This is one of our last work, it doesn't have such a meaning, it's just our surrealistic way to see a great picture from a master of photography...who can guess what picture we refer to?
