I came to a brillant realization right now. I have just learned what my definition of Art is, I didn't know what it was until now, even though I am an artist.
Art is any work, in any medium that makes you experience an emotion that is not about the piece but from the piece. An emotion that you recive from the piece but is internalized, so in effect you are a piece of the artwork, creating your own emotional piece inside of you. The physical is just a kick start. Art that you think is pretty is not art. If you look at it and say that has a beautiful use of line or form, it is not real art, it is a technical practice. So art is diffrent for everyone.
So in effect, this journal entry is a piece of art, at least for me. Thank you for sharing it with me.
