I had to come to Toronto yesterday for some stuff. Anyway, this girl I knew from when I used to live here had some tickets for the Team Sleep show lastnight. She had and extra ticket so I went to the show with her of course because I love Team Sleep. The show was amazing! If they come to your town check them out. After the show my friend asked if we should try meeting them. Obviously I wanted to because I love them. 2 seconds after one of the bands sound guys or something comes up to us and asks us if we wanted to kick it. I think he noticed my Deftones shirt from onstage and that I was singing along to all the songs. We had to wait about 20 minutes but then we got to go on the bus. I was super nervous/excited because Chino Moreno is a god to me. I love this man. I was kind of scared to meet him in case he was an ass. Anyway, we get on the bus and I see the bassist and DJ so shy little me introduces myself because when am I ever going to get the chance to meet them again? Rick (bassist) offers us a drink. I'm talking to my friend and I look over and see Chino sitting at the table! It took me about 20 minutes to get the courage to go introduce myself. I told him that I was a huge fan and all that stuff. He was really cool. I got all the guys to sign the set list that I took from the stage. We hung out on the bus until 3am dancing around and listening to music. Chino even gave me a preview of some new Deftones stuff. That was my night. I still can't believe that I got to hang out with my idol.
