So as some may know from previous posts, I built my three year old iguana, Phoenix, her cage. It took quite a while to complete but it was so worth the time.
Now after moving and seeing how she settled I decided it was time for a bit of an upgrade. I went ahead and replaced the not so great chicken wire with smaller fencing to help reduce any nose rubbing and ouchies. As well as built new shelving and lined it with grass for a more comfortable sitting spot. Then I went ahead and built a hut out of driftwood and fastened with zip ties so I can rearrange in the future ( I know I’ll try something different, eventually). Lastly I rearranged her hammocks so maybe she will use them now. 😂
She seems to be enjoying it so far! She’s been all over the place checking out what I did.
Now for a cool day to come so I can redo her doors and I will be happy for a while 😊
