New York was amazing!! If you haven't been there then go, go now... Even though I was only there for 6 days and 4 of those were spent stuck in a conference I had the best time.

I got there last saturday around 4pm, after checking in we headed out to central park and took a walk around that then headed out for dinner.

Spent the whole of sunday walking around the south end of manhattan from Brooklyn over the bridge, around pier 17 over to ground zero (which was a moving experience), up west broadway and then along fifth avenue, up the empire state and then down to grand central station. Everything i saw looked familiar it was like i was in a movie all day long.

That was it for the touristy things until thursday because of the conference. Except for heading to the top of the Rockefeller center on wednesday nite. Looking over New York at night took my breath away. The views all round were absolutely stunning.

Thursday saw the end of the conference around 2 so we headed to 5th again to do a bit of shopping. yeah we did the real touristy places like Tiffanys. It was a bit of a dump to be honest! Tried to get to CBGB's but didn't get time cuz it started to snow real bad so we had to head back to the airport.

I am definately going back to New York and soon!
