I'm friends with pretty much all of my ex's. There's not one I don't speak to on a regular basis.

My first girlfriend is one of my best friends. We went through a lot of shit to get there, though. Like, it took a couple of years of varying degrees of unrequited love and reciprocal hate.
The next time either of us hooked up with someone else the other was terribly jealous.
