so things have been pretty quiet since the "band split fallout" a couple of weeks ago. i'm sure the shit will hit the fan when sarah gets back from her Strike Anywhere tour, but i'm not letting it bother me anymore.
I'm happier and more content than i've been for months. i have a new band, with really great mates. my new friends that i've met since i started the band have all seemed to back me up on the band shenanigans, so its nice to realise i'm not completely bonkers!
if anyones interested, you can add my new bands Myspace HERE!
we're having band name problems at the moment. the three we have are Tony And The Lords Of The Underworld, Indiana Tones And The Temple Of Rock, and The Kill Party.
i think i know which one is gonna win...
if your interested, our last gig as The Small Mercies looked a little like this:
note Adam Mercies on drums!
Phil dives into the crowd for a singalong!
our mate Jam miming the bass!
arty!
our first gig as the new band is on 26th November @ The Fighting Cocks - please come see us!!!
other stuff:
- getting tattooed next week. YAY!
- went to the London Tattoo Convention with Jackie on Friday. Must say i was a little underwhealmed. its a great new venue, no denying that, however, the area its in is hardly exciting. no where else to go once you finished at the Convo. i for one missed my after convention curry!
I also thought it was a little same-old same-old too. Yes, a lot of effort had gone into it, and it was possibly the best LTC so far...but i was bored after an hour. I may give next years a miss.
- nearly got myself booked up to go to San Francisco at Xmas to see my fave band X do their last two gigs of the year. i've never seen X, and this is a big thing for me. anyway, i say NEARLY...i was all ready to book it, i had the flights and the hotel all sorted, when my sensible head kicked in. i reeeeeeeeally can't afford to go, even though the lure of spending Xmas Day @ Zeitgiest was almost too much to bear.
anyway - i'm now resigned to the fact i'll be going out there in Sept 09 instead. this is a definate. hopefully i'll see you then instead Holly...
- my bowling scores went up this weekend. i got a 97 and a 98. still wish i could get over 100 though!
catch ya s'laters, y'all

Living in epsom is cool, it's full of art and fashion students but it's cool. Yes we should definitely have a 'non-gig' local meet. When Johns back from his holiday we should sort something out.
Good luck with the rehearsals and i'm looking forward to seeing the new ink!
