a short-arse update...

last few days:

* hung out with my lovely mate Jackie. we ate food, we drunk too many magners, we had horrible hangovers

* had a nandos with me bandmates

* went and saw THE MINGERS with Jackie, who were awesome. was great to see Peter_Minger again, we don't see him enough. got drunk again, and had a nightmare "no trains" journey home. not good for a sunday night...blah....

* not been very good at work. been going in late every day cos i don't have the energy or inclination or the brain power to even cope with anything, or anyone.

* had another singer wanker blow us out at the last minute. the band are now eight songs into a brand new set, still with NO VOCALS. this makes me as well...

* ...however, tuesdays rehearsal blew away the mental cobwebs and the melon colonies, and it turns out we have ANOTHER candidate for our vocalist in the shape of Phil from SHERMER. and this time it sounds like its gonna be pretty definate.
keep yer fingers crossed for us...hey, at least he might actually turn up, that'd be a start.

* another gig Friday...gonna try not to drink this time though....we'll see
