WOAH, i'm doing pretty well with the new music at the moment.
yesterday, i got these, and OH YES, THEY FUCKIN ROCK!
so i was coming back on the train last night after seeing a kickin Rise Against show with CreamyGoodness. i was mindin my own business, listening to my MP3 player and reading my Punk Rock Oral History book, when some fairly saucy, but quite tipsy, office girly sat opposite me.
she'd only been sitting there a few minutes, when she lent forward and pulled my book up so she could see what i was reading. cue 20 questions "whats that?" "whats that about?" "why were you laughing?" "never heard of The Damned!".
she obviously weren't gonna shut up, so off came the headphones and readied myself for a trip back to Sutton talking to this drunken young lady.
turns out she was actually going back to Sutton too - so this conversation was gonna last 8 stops!
eventually she managed to blab her way onto my tattoos, and was quite good naturedly ribbing me and asking about them:
"whats that on your tshirt?" "why are you dressed like that?" "you must be one of those weirdos" "why would you want them?" "what made you wanna do this to yourself?" " i think you must be attention seeking!" "whywhyfucking WHY?" etc bloody etc.
unfortunately she spoke so quickly i couldn't even formulate a satisfactory reply. i mean, i KNOW why i've got tattoos, but it's a fairly in-depth subject to explain to someone that hasn't really got a clue - right?
none of my answers were pacifying her at all, and then suddenly, shes pulling my shirt sleeves up and rubbing my arms and giving my tatts a good old nose...
...so here i am, with a fairly attractive lady, giving me a stroke and prod. and i suddenly realised....
THATS why i got tattoos!!! 
luckily she staggered off in the opposite direction once we got off the train....
anyway - theres many reasons why i've got tattoos, why i've always been intruiged by them , why i waited till i was older to have them. but i think thats for another journal.
instead, as Mck kinda tagged me with his "Celebrity Crushes" list earlier today, and becuase it took me quite a while to do, i'm gonna add the list to my journal as well!
