There was a good sized earthquake today; I missed it though, I was driving in my car.

Life has been staying pretty busy. The Commissioner's Office called my work yesterday to applaud me on my efforts at work. A native tribal council called them that day to let the know wht an outstanding assest I asm to their agency and taht I took the time to explain out procedures and make the family feel well cared for. I know what I can do and I know how to handle most people. What angers me about this is that this is not the first time I have been acknowledged for my outstanding efforts at the workplace yet I see no monetary payoffs or promotions. I am one of the lowest paid death investigaotrs there for the simple reason that I did not have a law enforcement background. BULLSHIT! I am better because I am not a cop, the furthest thing from it, I am a funeral director and I know I come off that way when I deal with the public. I know I am there to gather the facts not judge the people for there actions; I'm not saying the thought "you got what you deserved" never runs through my head. But I don't let the general public see my disgust.

My wedding is coming up pretty quickly; less than three months away! So life has pretty much been about the dieting. The payoff is going to be well worth it! Thanatogenous is my maid of honor. I am just thrilled that she is going to be able to make. We are going to have such a good time in Vegas. I think I have some great things for the wedding. Our guest book and ring bearer pillow is original. And I have the most gorgeous birdcage veil all thanks to Thanatogenous's efforts of searching for me.

My cute little puppies are a pain in the ass!! Brutus is almost done with his advanced beginner classes.
