I am thankful that no one died last night, I didn't get to go to bed the night before so all I wanted was a good nights sleep. I am more than thrilled to know that I only have two weeks left at job. There are just so many fucked up things that happen here. OSHA came in the other day on a formal complaint about the body lift in the garage that we use to get the bodies up from the garage level to the prep room hallway was unsafe. We all knew it was, I hate using the fucking things. I am waiting for the cable to snap one day and cut off someones limb or cut their head off. Any way we all know who told OSHA to come check it out and frankly I am glad she did. But all the owner is going to do is try to fix it the cheapest way. Whatever, like I said only two weeks left then I am off to the medical examiners office for my new job I had was able to rent a house and I am pretty stoked about that. I looked into apartments to rent but with a 70lb bulldog there weren't alot of options. The next problem is that when I moved here I moved into a furnished apartment above the funeral homeo so now I am going to need to get a bed and some couches Good thing for Craigslist and when a majority of the people that live here are in the military there always seems to be a good selection of shit. I also got my Alaska driver license the other day so now I am considered a resident am qualify for the dividend they give out every year.

We got a fresh snow for Thanksgiving moring



The winter hasn't been bad at all so far, I week and a half ago we got down to -20 but it has been unseasonably warm this week, one day we were above 32. Brutus loves playing in ithe snow and eating it! I'm glad he finally learned that he can pee and poop in it

I am glad to be relaxing on this wonderful Thanksgiving Day and hanging out with my dog. I can't wait till my boyfriend gets out of the military and is around to share the holidays with. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
