I'm so happy. I picked up a 1975 fender twin reverb amp last night in Oakland. It's in the most immaculate condition and still had RCA american tubes in it that haven't been made since like the 80's.
I'm so very social. I actually went out to the bar last night. The first time i've been out on a weekday in months. I met a couple of nice girls, and saw some old highschool friends I've not seen in years.
I'm so very tired. Closed out the bar and didn't get to bed until about 3:30. I could tell that she wanted to hang out longer, but the grumpy gus in me kicked in and I had to depart.
I'm so very content. I found some new music by artist i've never heard of, and this makes musicians optimistic for the future. When I think of the future of music, I want to think of things like Broken Social Scene, or Broadcast, or Animal Collective, that are trying to be original without sounding like they're trying and somehow also bring back nostalgic memories of music of old. Be on the lookout for Saxon Shore and Paul Duncan, and West Indian Girl.
