Do you ever go off on memory tangents? They're the best.
I'm driving to San Francisco last night and there's this stretch of road where you come over a huge grade and to the left of you there's a waterway and the temperature drops 10. Well last night I was traveling just after dusk, when there is still some color in the sky and the fog that was blanketing the hills took on this dark lavender color. It looked like a cape. Pretty wicked.
Thinking of that memory, triggered the memories present when that scene took place, and it was a memory to the smell of the open moving air blasting through my car. It smelled like camping, and the woods, and being outdoors and grass and sage and whatever.
That memory triggered being in the hills of Idaho in the morning.
As I write this i'm dancing to the Dirty Three. I don't dance.

i don't want to sell it, but kind of have to. i have no money for rent and car payment next month and my mister already helped me out last month. the family i was working with suddenly needed me less and less. it's hurt me financially in a big way.
i love that bass. i wish i could keep her. she sounds so lovely.
