Well, we're done tracking all of the basic instruments. Did a super rough mix of the first 3 songs for the boys so they can nail down some vocals before we track 'em.

Song 2 had very little bass, and Song 3 has a phase issue with the rhythm guitar, so I'll let you listen to Song 1 (who's only problem is that the lead guitar is much louder than the rhythm)

I've been feeling much better the last two days. Gotta be tip top for thursdays shindig, gonna be a good one.

My kitty, Booya!, let me put a collar on him, yesterday. The last time I tried to do that, he spazzed out all afternoon over it and I had to take it off of him cause i'm a big fucking pushover with him. I think he likes it this time around.

I've already been contacted by like three bands that want to record at the house, but i'm getting the feeling that I don't want to spend all my time recording. I'm really, really, really hard up for playing with a group. But if you don't already know:

1. My band is in shambles. Two members moved down to LA, and it doesn't look like Punt and I will be going along.
2. If said band breaks up I'm going to stop playing bass and pick the guitar back up.
3. Finding new members to form a new band will be next to impossible without breaking up friends bands that i'm really into. I don't know if I can ask that of them.


This is our concern. Anyone want to join a band? I'm thinking the Stooges meets Cancer Conspiracy, meets Hot Snakes, meets the Brady Bunch?
