I AM THE WALKING DEAD!!!
Up at 4 a.m. At work by 5 a.m. Home by 7 p.m. I get to go do it all over again tomorrow! There was no way we could have finished inventory today. We should be done by tomorrow afternoon. It went pretty smooth. Folks get a little edgy after a 12 hour day, bad food and too much caffeine. All in all, I'm pretty impressed with my crew.
My boss is leaving afterwards. He's really cool. He's trying to talk me into buying this guitar I saw last night. Yeah, I need another one.
Iffin' you pick up a copy of The Chronicle this weekend, you might keep your eyes peeled for a greasy haired, pointy-nosed sucka similar to the one pictured on your left. Yep, it came out finally. I think it's pretty funny that I was even included in the article, cuz they didn't even quote me. Hey, I'll take the press where I can get it. This past year has been full of media coverage for yours truly. I like it. I'm a ham, so fuckin' sue me!
Here's something you didn't know about me: I love cockfighting memorabilia. Yes, it's true. Just got a knife with fightin' roosters on one blade and the words "til death do us part" on the other. Hey, one of those deals where you don't go to work for 2 days is coming up. What are those called? Oh yeah, a weekend! Those things are cool. I hope this is a good one. The past few have been horribly tough. I don't want anyone to piss me off or make me sad or BOTH during those days. Don't wanna sound like a whiner, but this year has really SUCKED so far. I'm trying very hard to change that.
