Not a bad day off. Bid on records and switchblades on eBay. Went out and bought a bunch of records (!). Ate a ridiculous amount of Chinese food, and now.....here I sit!
There isn't a helluva lot goin' on tonight, and it's really cold outside (for Texas). Yep, I'm stayin' home.
I've been so deeply immersed in the retail side of the holidays that I haven't given it much thought on a personal level. I'm staying here for Xmas. Actually, I haven't spent the holidays with my family since 1990. How bad is that? It's not that I don't want to. I've been far away, and unable to go because of work. To be honest, I don't really have any desire to spend the holidays with them now. Since my dad died, my family isn't much of a family. My mom is really sick too, and doesn't really want anyone around her. That's understandable. Sad, but understandable. How uplifting! Sorry!

score on the records. well, about the red vinyl, i personally dont have any more, i didn't get that many to start out with, i'll have to contact the guy who's putting it out to see if he has more. otherwise, you might have to settle for black! sorry! how much are they selling it for anyway? i hope its like 2 bucks. i don't know if you ever listen to Stronger Than Dirt on KOOP, but he played two of our songs last night. it was pretty rad. still hate hearing my own voice, tho.
