If you're a fan of The Hellacopters, you gotta check out "Goodnight Cleveland" on DVD. It's basically a documentary of their '02 U.S. tour. These guys are grammy award winning stars in Europe and Japan. Not quite the case here in the U.S.. That's basically the premise of the film: showing the contrast in their differing degrees of success. If you own their records, or seen 'em live, you know how much they kick ass! Definitely worth watching. Also, there are some bootleg performances from the early days.
My best friend from my days in RVA contacted me yesterday. He lives in NYC now. Haven't seen him in 10 years. He's talking about us going on a trip overseas in February. That would be really cool. I want to go back to Thailand. I spent 2 summers there when I was younger. Bangkok is a great city! It would be cool to experience it as an adult. No, no hookers or drugs for me. Custom tailored clothes/shoes, switchblades, and a donkey show or two is more like it! We're both pretty busy with our jobs, so we'll see if it ever comes together. He's a cool guy. Definitely the best friend I ever had.
Forgot to mention that this girl gave me her number on Friday. I've only met her a few times, but she's really cool. The timing couldn't be more perfect.

It was me, three boys, and a band that practiced in the basement. The following year I got my own apartment.
